United States : ICON LABS' embedded software solution receives MCAFEE COMPATIBLE status [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A major embedded networking and security technology provider, West Des Moines, Iowa. Icon Labs, says that its Floodgate embedded software solution has received "McAfee Compatible" status. The recently combined solution consolidates with the McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (McAfee ePO ) platform, a major component of McAfee's security management offerings, and Icon Labs' Floodgate Software products for embedded devices. The solution allows joint customers to manage security policies and receive security events for embedded devices such as industrial control, IoT, Smart Grid and DoD operational assets. Icon Labs products offer embedded security for IoT and Machine to Machine (M2M) solutions like aerospace, military and space probes, industrial and medical control devices, as well as consumer electronics products. The Floodgate products offer a 'defense in depth' solution to shield control units and endpoint devices from cyber threats, aid in line with regulatory mandates and guidelines, and collect and report command, event and device status information for audit requirements. President of Icon Labs, Alan Grau, said : "By integrating Icon Labs Floodgate products with the McAfee ePO platform, we are able to bring enterprise level security capabilities to RTOS-based devices.
