China's CSEC first-half profits down 11.7 percent


(MENAFN) China Shenhua Energy Company Limited (CSEC) said it registered a drop of its first-half net profits by 11.7 percent, reaching USD3.5 billion, Xinhua reported.

China's largest coal producer's business revenues reached USD20.93 billion in the January-June period, an increase of 0.4 percent on year, according to CSEC business report.

Revenues from CSEC coal business totaled USD11.55 billion in the first six months of the year, down 14.1 percent. Meanwhile, the company's sales declined 3.3 percent.
