Meera Nanda to romance Asif in her next

Meera Nanda was spotted dazzling in beautiful outfits at the Fahadh-Nazriya wedding, but the actress has a handful of projects to take care of, from now. In the upcoming Jayaram-starrer directed by Benny Thomas, Meera will also be seen in a prominent role. The film is scripted by Udayakrishna and Sibi K Thomas and Meera is paired with Asif Ali in it. Kaniha is also part of the movie, which is tentatively titled Mylanchi Monchulla Veedu.
“For the first time in my career, I play a Muslim girl and I am paired with Asif Ali. We are currently shooting at Varikkasseri Mana,” says Meera, who is also shooting for her Tamil project Sandamarutham, side by side. “Sandamarutham’s set is a lot of fun. I speak Tamil quite well and thus the work is smooth,” she says. The film is directed by A Venkatesh and Meera shares screen space with Sarath Kumar, Oviya and actor-director Samuthirakani.
She will also start shooting for the movie Cousins directed by Vysakh, starring Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon , soon. Meanwhile, the actress’ performance as Daisy in the recently released Apothecary was much appreciated.
