Top team of Gujarat BJP discusses by-polls with PM, Amit Shah in Delhi, announcement of candidates in two days

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening in Delhi. Gujarat BJP president RC Faldu, organizational general secretary Bhikhubhai Dalsania and state party incharge Om Mathur also joined the meeting.
Chief Minister and others are in Delhi to discuss candidates for upcoming by-elections of nine assembly seats and on Lok Sabha seat. Two of ten seats(Maninagar assembly seat and Vadoara Lok Sabha seat) are going to witness election because Prime Minister Narendra Modi vacated them.
Final decision on candidates will be taken by central parliamentary board of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) to be chaired by party’s national president Amit Shah who is also MLA from Naranpura constituency in Gujarat.
The by-elections are scheduled to take place on 13 September. Both BJP and Congress are in final stage of making decision candidates.
Update: Chief Minister Anandiben Patel after her visit to BJP national headquarters on Saturday evening told media persons that candidates for 10-seat by-polls will be announced within 48 hours.
