Civil service prelims: Kozhikode too has centres for the exam this time

KOZHIKODE: Preparations are on in the district for conduct of the civil service preliminary examination.
It is the first time the district has centres for the examination. It will be held at 11 centres here on Sunday.
As many as 5,219 candidates will attend the examination in the district, under the direct supervision of officials from the UPSC.
Both parts of the exam - objective and descriptive will be held on Sunday from 9.30am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Strict surveillance will be arranged at the centres, said district collector C A Latha.
Candidates and invigilators will not be allowed to carry electronic instruments including calculators. collector also said that mobile phones also will not be allowed to carry inside the examination hall.
