Two men, including the victim in a high-profile shooting allegedly involving an anti-gang activist, have been charged by the Denver district attorney in connection with a May drive-by shooting. Hasan Jones, 23, and Darryl Dickerson, 28, were each charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, attempted first-degree assault and illegal discharge of a firearm.

In September 2013, Jones was shot in a parking lot near Holly Square. Police have charged activist Terrance Roberts with attempted murder in that case.

Jones is now in a wheelchair. Police say that on May 30, he was a passenger in a vehicle from which shots were fired into a home in the 3600 block of Forest Street, injuring a 29-year-old man.
