A koala that was hit by a car was saved by a firefighter and wildlife rescuer in Australia after it was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation Thursday, according to media reports.
A video of the dramatic rescue shows firefighters dropping the koala from a tall tree where it had climbed to safety. The koala was unconscious.
After performing CPR and giving the koala oxygen, it began to growl at the rescuers.
The end of the video shows the koala alive and being held by the firefighters. The koala was named Sean after one of the rescuers, according to the reports.
