Halifax Regional Police are looking for two suspects after a Dartmouth home was broken into early Friday.

Police responded to the home in the 0-100 block of Ancona Place around 1:30 a.m.

Investigators say the homeowners, a 48-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, heard a loud bang at their front door and awoke to find two masked men, one of whom was armed, in their home.

The male homeowner yelled at the suspects to get out of this house. The men fled and were last seen running down the street.

Police say nothing was taken and no one was injured.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens or early 20s. Both were wearing dark-coloured hoodies and had their faces covered.

Police say the incident is under investigation but it is not believed to be a random act.
