Urmila had replaced Manasi Salvi in Asambhav

Actress Urmila Kanetkar-Kothare had replaced actress Manasi Salvi for the lead role of Shubhra in the daily soap ‘Asambhav’ after 100 episodes.
The first 100 episodes of the daily soap saw Manasi essaying the mysterious character of Shubhra in the daily soap. Post 100 episodes, Umrila replaced her for the reasons unknown. Before accepting the show, Urmila was an admirer of the serial and was glad to receive the offer to this role.
Actor Umesh Kamat played the male lead on the show and actress Neelam Shirke played the negative lead. ‘Asambhav’ was based on the concept of reincarnation. The show had run into trouble after it showed three brutal murders through hypnotism by Neelam Shirke’s character.
