Xiaomi's MIUI 6 gives Google an Apple makeover

 

Chinese smart device maker Xiaomi is giving Android an iOS 7 touch with its newly launched MIUI 6, a tech site reported this week.

 

It's not just the rounded icons: there's no app drawer, so all app icons are on the home screen, according to a report on Liliputing.com.

 

The report added MIUI 6 will be coming soon to the company’s products—not just smartphones, but also tablets and other devices.

 

But for now, MIUI 6 is available to a small group of beta testers.

The notification center also allows small floating pop-up interactive notifications at the top of the screen.

 

Not copying Apple
