MULTAN (Web Desk) – Police are still unable to arrest the accused involved in attack on Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s residence in Multan, Dunya News reported on Friday.

A complaint was lodged against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) district president Bilal Butt alias Billu Butt and others for attacking Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s residence in Multan.

The complaint was filed by Qureshi’s PA Iqbal at Daulat Gate Police Station.

Police had registered case against 18 accused including Billu Butt and fifty undidentified suspects, however, no arrest has been made as yet.

Political temperature is increasing in the country as PTI activists continue sit-in against the government outside Parliament House in a bid to depose the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who heads the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

On Wednesday, PML-N workers staged protest outside Senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s house in Multan and tried to break the main gate of the house.

A day later, Shah Mahmood Qureshi posted a message on Twitter saying that his house was attacked by Billu Butt, who is PML-N’s district president in Multan.

Billu Butt is the third PML-N member to have emerged after infamous Gullu Butt of Lahore and Pomi Butt of Gujranwala, who have lead angry mobs against the anti-government activists.
