PWD Maharashtra recruitment for 247 vacancies

Public Works Department of Maharashtra has invited applications for recruitment to 247 various vacancies. The posts are available for candidates between the ages of 18 years and 33 years. Last date for application is August 28, 2014.

Senior Clerk: 42 posts
Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade pay Rs 2,400
Eligibility: The candidate should have a graduate degree or equivalent and have knowledge of Computer Applications.

Junior Clerk: 39 posts
Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade pay Rs 1,900
Eligibility: The candidate should have a graduate degree or equivalent and have knowledge of Computer Application.

Driver: 24 posts
Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade pay Rs 1,900
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed Class 4 and have a valid driving licence.

Peon: 47 posts
Salary: Rs 4,440 - 7,440 + Grade pay Rs 1,300
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed Class 4 or equivalent.

Mazdoor: 84 posts
Salary: Rs 4,440 - 7,440 + Grade pay Rs 1,300
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed Class 4 or equivalent.

Pump Attendant: 2 posts
Salary: Rs 4,440 - 7,440 + Grade pay Rs 1,600
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed Class 10/ SSC or equivalent.

Store keeper: 4 posts
Salary: Rs 9,300 - 34,800 + Grade pay Rs 4,200
Eligibility: The candidate should have a graduate degree or equivalent.

Watchman: 5 posts
Salary: Rs 4,440 - 7,440 + Grade pay Rs 1,300
Eligibility: The candidate should have passed Class 4 or equivalent.

Selection
Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a written test and interview. The written test will be held on September 28, 2014.
