MSMEs urged to utilise loan mela

The Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC) on Thursday urged the entrepreneurs of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Tiruchi region to utilise the special loan mela currently under way in the city.

Speaking at a programme held here on Thursday, V.Mathiazhagan, Regional Manager, said TIIC had been offering various loan schemes for construction of community centre, commercial complex, marriage hall and hotels, establishment of generator, warehouse, and cold storage. Owners of textile units could also make use of the technology upgradation fund scheme.

Highlighting the provision of subsidy under various schemes, he said that entrepreneurs should develop a keen interest to keep themselves abreast of the new schemes. The special mela being held at TIIC’s Tiruchi office would continue up to August 28. Arrangements had been made to explain the schemes to the entrepreneurs. Raja Rajan, General Manager, District Industries Centre, and V.Ekambaram, Branch Manager, TIIC, took part.
