One of the world’s biggest DJs, David Guetta will return to India this December to play two shows in the country.

Universally accredited with being one of the first DJs to open up the world of electronic dance music to global audiences, David Guetta has established himself as a true, modern day dance icon with a huge following.

The man behind tracks like ‘Titanium’ featuring Sia and ‘Play Hard’ will perform in Delhi NCR on December 19 and Bangalore on December 21. The venues will be announced soon for the two shows. Over the last few years the name David Guetta has become synonymous with chart-topping dance music. After first making his presence most notably felt in the US with his production work on the Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’ in 2009, Guetta effectively laid the foundation for what is now a burgeoning, worldwide EDM scene.

This track along with ‘When Love Takes Over’, featuring Kelly Rowland, rocketed straight to the top of the UK Singles charts. He has collaborated with everyone from Akon to Snoop Dogg and Usher to Nicki Minaj.  In 2014, he released a trio of hit club singles and is now channeling all his efforts towards his sixth studio album. He also has 53 million fans on Facebook and 15 million followers on Twitter. Having also recently announced coveted Ibiza residences at both Pacha and Ushuaia, as well as an extended run of European festival dates across France, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Sweden, Iceland, Italy, Russia, Spain and Scotland before the summer is out, 2014 is shaping up to be one of David Guetta’s biggest years to date, and the two shows in India occupy a prime spot in this year’s musical calendar.

The tour is being organised by Only Much Louder. Early bird tickets for the concerts will be available on www.insider.in on August 25 at a special price of Rs 2,500. Regular tickets will be available from September 1 at Rs 3,000 while VIP tickets will be available at Rs 7,000 for Delhi NCR and Rs 6,000 for Bangalore.
