VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress MLA Uppuleti Kalpana on Thursday said that the state government lacks clarity on allotment of funds for SC, ST Sub-Plan. Ms Kalpana also accused the government of deceiving people by not allotting funds to implement its election promises. The MLA told reporters that the budget was just a “numbers gimmick” and it fails to reflect the promise of TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu to develop the state on the lines of Singapore.
Former minister K. Parthasarathi said Mr Naidu should fulfil his election promises instead of wasting time by criticising opposition parties and YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that there was no mention on BC Sub-Plan in the budget.
Party leader P. Gowtam Reddy said the budget failed to allot funds for the NTR Sujala Sravanti scheme and there was no mention of a super-speciality hospital. The government failed to allot funds for Bandar port and flyover at Durga temple ghat road, he said.
