Actor and founder of Jana Sena Party Pawan Kalyan late on Thursday evening met BJP president Amit Shah, in what was described as a courtesy call that lasted for about half an hour.

Emerging out of the meeting, the actor, who was one of the star campaigners for the BJP in the general elections, said they discussed several key issues but declined to reveal details, saying it was ‘too early’. The meeting was strictly one-on-one and even senior leaders like the AP unit president of the BJP Hari Babu and the Telangana unit president G. Kishan Reddy waited in an adjacent room at the Paryatak Bhavan, where Mr. Shah and others are staying.
