Mammootty And Mohanlal To Share Screen!
According to the latest reports, Mammootty and Mohanlal will share screen for an upcoming big budget movie, directed by Shaji Kailas. Antony Perumbavoor will produce the prestigious movie project, under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas. Reportedly, the movie will be jointly penned by the veteran scenarists, Ranjith and Renji Panicker.
It was rumoured that Mammootty and Mohanlal will share the screen in Priyadarshan's upcoming movie; but the director brushed off the rumours. He stated that, he has a project with Mammootty and Mohanlal in his wishlist; but it has not materialised yet.
Mammootty and Mohanlal, the big M's of Mollywood, entered the film industry at the same time. The actors has acted together in almost 55 films. Both of them shared screen last in the multi-starrrer, Twenty-Twenty, produced by actor Dileep. Mohanlal has appeared in cameo role in Mammootty starrers such as, Manu Uncle and Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty. Mammootty has made cameo appearances in Mohanlal's films such as No.20 Madras Mail and Narasimham.
Mammootty's ambitious project Munnariyippu, directed by Venu is releasing tommorow. He plays an ex-convict C K Raghavan, who enters a mission with a freelance journalist, Anjali Arackal (played by Aparna Gopinath).
Mohanlal's upcoming political-comedy Peruchazhi is all set to release on August 29th. The movie will have Mukesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Aju Varghese, Delhi Ganesh, Vijay Babu, Baburaj and Sandra Thomas in the supporting roles. Ragini Nandhawani plays the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie.
