Sabah's Lam leads the pack in Puchong

PUCHONG: Sabahan Lam Yu Shen shot a three-under 68 to lead the pack on the first day of the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour's I&P Group Closed Championship held at the Kinrara Golf Club, here.The opening round was marked by a congested leaderboard where no fewer than 14 players shot under-par and were separated by just three strokes and 19 players were even-par for the round or better.It saw Tony Lam Kong Loong, Danny Chia, Sukree Othman, Zen Dharmaratne, Dino Abdillah, Rahizam Ramli and Keegan Kam finish a shot back on 69, while Akhmal Tarmizee, Shaaban Hussin, Hans Jamil, Ben Leong, Iylia Jamil and Zamri Sariff were one-under.
