The Students Federation of India (SFI) will not allow Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb to take part in any public function till the government orders an inquiry into the sanctioning of Plus Two seats, SFI State secretary T.P. Bineesh has said.

He was inaugurating an SFI march to the office of the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) on Wednesday seeking the resignation of the Minister in the wake of the High Court directive in the case. (The court had ordered that new Plus Two courses be sanctioned only to those schools recommended by a panel headed by the Higher Secondary Education (HSE) Director).

“The government should be ready to announce an independent inquiry into the entire episode,” he said.
