CHAKWAL - A three-day anti-polio campaign has been started in district Chakwal on Wednesday.
After detecting poliovirus in a minor girl at Kallar Kahar, DCO Chakwal Asif Bilal Lodhi directed for launching a special anti-polio campaign in the district.
More than 150 thousands children below the age of five years will be vaccinated throughout the district.
District Officer Health Dr Muhammad Aleem Danish said that 529 teams have been constituted, which would visit door to door, schools, hospitals, bus and wagon stands and other places aimed to administer polio drops to children below the age of five years.
