SEOUL -- A controversial piece on South Korean President Park Geun-hye published by the Japanese daily Sankei Shimbun is invoking all types of reactions in the country, from hard criticism to doubts about the government's response.
Tatsuya Kato, who wrote the article, appeared for the second time at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on Wednesday after enduring a 10-hour interview on Monday. The summoning of a foreign reporter by prosecutors, a highly unusual move, has generated criticism from domestic media as well.
