KTR lays stone for sub-station

Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K. Taraka Rama Rao has laid foundation stone for the construction of 220/132 KVA sub-station, which will come up at a cost of Rs. 76.17 crore in Peddur village of Sircilla mandal on Wednesday.

On the occasion, he said that the construction of sub-station would ease tripping problem in the Sircilla mandal. He also assured construction of more sub-stations to provide quality power supply to farmers and consumers.

Expressing concern over shortage of power in the State, he said they had declared power holiday to the industries to provide assured power to the farmers to protect standing crops. He thanked people for actively participating in the survey.
