Entertainment: Akshay Kumar holds fort with Junior, his canine co-star

Entertainment got Akshay Kumar the reviews he deserved.
The Bollywood superstar was in top form in this comic caper, where he teamed up for the first time with wonder dog, Junior (known as Entertainment in the film). And the film resonated with the family audience, especially the children. “People came out of cinemas talking about the bonding between Akshay and Junior. The two were in perfect sync,” says producer Ramesh S Taurani.The film’s other producer, Jayantilal Gada (PEN) says, “It makes me happy to know that children and their families are appreciating the movie as we set out to make a family entertainer. The collections have only strengthened our belief in the animal movie genre.”

Taurani adds, “The response to Entertainment has been great. All credit goes to Akshay Kumar, who I think is the king of comedy. As I said earlier, the scenes between Junior and him tug at your heartstrings. And I know several people who want to get pets after seeing Junior. Both Akshay and I are animal lovers and we wanted to keep the track with the dog as real as possible. It’s been a delight to work with Akshay.”
