Max Verstappen is following in the footsteps of his Father Jos as a F1 driver making Max the sports youngest driver ever

Jos Verstappen competed for Benetton, Simtek, Arrows and Minardi in his Formula 1 career and in 1994 he claimed two podium finishes alongside his team mate Michael Schumacher.

Now Max has taken a seat with Toro Rosso team, Max is only 16 years old and by the time he straps into that F1 seat he'll be 17 making him the world's youngest F1 driver. You might think that he learned his craft using a Playstation but no, he made his Karting debut at seven years old went on to be World Champion.

Now he's storming the F3 European championship where he's won eight of the 27 races and that puts him in contention for the championship.

Meanwhile he's learning how to shave in his spare time.

It's a huge achievement for any driver to make it as far as Max has and still have most of his career ahead of him. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more about Max and his F1 growing pains in the coming year.
