Ajith-Gautham Menon's Movie Release Pushed To Pongal?

We had reported on Tuesday (August 19) that Ajith Kumar and Gautham Menon's forthcoming movie has completed 70% of the shooting. The team has been working hard to release the movie in November. The latest buzz is that the makers of the film have changed their release plans and have pushed the release to next year.

Rumours are rife that the movie release is being postponed. The earlier plan of releasing the Tamil flick in November is changed for some reasons. It is speculated that the makers of the film want to have a grand release and they have now decided to release the untitled film for Pongal 2015. The Kollywood filmmakers' love for the festive release is well-known and this comes as a no surprise to the industry observers.

However, the Ajith Kumar fans might be disappointed with the delay. They have been eagerly waiting for the release. Currently, the shooting is happening in Chennai. Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan are taking part in the shooting.

The movie is presently called by the name 'Thala 55', which marks the 55 movie of Ajith Kumar as a hero. Anushka Shetty, Vivek, Arun Vijay and many others are in the cast. While Harris Jayaraj is composing music, Dan Macarthur is handling the camera with Anthony managing the editing department.
