JAMMU, Aug 19: Digiana police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 21 years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police party from Digiana police post conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since 1993.
The accused has been identified as Deedar Singh, son of Mohinder Singh, a resident of Digiana. He was involved in a case registered with police post digiana under FIR number 79/93 under Section 279 and 338 RPC.
Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Digiana SI Ashok Bazaz made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Gandhi Nagar Police Station Manzoor Ahmed Kohli, SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh and SP South Rahul Malik.
