Andre Schurrle says he is ready to help fire Chelsea to the title - after just two weeks back in training.

Schurrle was given an extended break by Chelsea following his part in Germany's World Cup triumph in Brazil this summer.

Despite his lack of pre-season training, Schurrle started and scored in Chelsea's convincing 3-1 Premier League opening win at Burnley on Monday.

And Schurrle said he is ready to kick on and help Jose Mourinho's side build on their opening triumph and push for the Premier League title.

"I'm feeling good," said Schurrle. "I've only been training for two weeks after my holidays.

"It was from zero to 100, directly into team training and everything. So there's a lot of work for me, but I'm feeling good.

"I enjoyed the World Cup a lot, so I got out of that with a lot of confidence. I came back to Chelsea, and obviously had a very short break. I was only two and a half weeks at the ocean and could relax.

"But from zero to 100 – I am hungry, I want to achieve something with Chelsea. I want to win titles with Chelsea. So I worked hard these two weeks. I worked a lot – extra for me as well.

"The only thing I can do is to work and give everything to be 100% in the games. Tonight I think it was a good start for me, but of course we can be better. And when I am 100% fit, there will be more.

"I am very happy at Chelsea. This is where I want to play, and this is where I want to play for the fans. There is nothing more to say.

"I'm enjoying my game, I'm enjoying being on the pitch. And I think the whole team played well [at Burnley].

"We had a lot of control, passes, good combinations. It was a lot of fun on the pitch."

Schurrle believes summer signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, both of whom impressed on their Chelsea debuts, will prove key men for the title favourites this season.

"I hope so," said Schurrle. "I think for Diego it was a perfect start. To score his first goal is always important – for a striker to come in and score his first goal.

"He played fantastically in the friendly and he scored. And now in his first goal in competition he scored as well. Cesc was always fantastic for me as well – he always had control of the game, and they wanted the ball and he was always running.

"He had two assists – so it was a fantastic night for them both. But it was only the first match so we have to keep going.

"I think a player like Cesc – every team wants him. So we are happy that he decided for Chelsea. We are happy that he is a Blue now. I am 100% sure he will help us this season."
