(MENAFN) Kalaam Telecom announced signing an agreement with Datamena to establish a Point of Presence (PoP), thus enabling Kalaam to benefit from Datamena's strategic location and ecosystem, Gulf Daily News reported.
The Bahrain-based company has been gradually growing to become an important global carrier and is currently able to peer directly with other regional and international internet service providers through UAE-IX.
By joining Datamena's carrier-neutral platform, the company will carry EoSDH, SDH and Ethernet traffic from existing carriers at Datamena to Bahrain and the rest of GCC and the Middle East.
