MoU signed B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Chennai (BSAU), signed an MoU with the University of North Carolina (UNC) recently. Carl W. Ernst, Director of the Carolina Center for the Study of the Middle East and Muslim Civilizations, represented the University of North Carolina and M. Murugesan, Registrar, B.S. Abdur Rahman University, represented the institution.

V.M. Periasamy, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Alhaj V.N.A Jalal, Director (Admissions), P.S. Syed Masood Jamali, Dean (School of Islamic Studies) and Prince Arockiadas, Director (International Collaboration), B.S. Abdur Rahman University, participated in the signing ceremony. The MoU facilitates a close collaboration between the two universities for student exchange, faculty exchange, collaborative research and organising international seminars and conferences jointly.

PITAM signs pact with IBM

Prathyusha Institute of Technology and Management recently signed an MoU with IBM for a cloud computing lab at their campus. The coursework will include classes on SoftLayer, the cloud solution from IBM. The induction programme held in the campus saw a group of events including presentation of cash awards for merit students, display of commercial renewable energy products and a feedback session from yesteryear graduates of the institution.
