Veda chanting is enchanting literally.

I have tried it both ways--trying to chant the Vedic text and listening to it. It is so energizing that you end up feeling totally renewed from your old lazy and tired self.

There are some techniques that you need to learn and adopt. I am trying to pick the Rigvedic style and not the Samavedic style which is more lyrical and involves a bit more complex system.

One day, I would love to do that too.

I tried the same thing with some of my friends in US. I was curious to note what type of feelings they had when they listen to something remote in a different style. However, I got the feedback that it was powerful and felt so good

The USP of Sanskrit is its stress on the sound. Sound is vibration and it can create so many effects in our body and mind. Sound is what they consider to be our original source. With a bang, of course very big, we got created. It was the sound that is prevalent in the universe and can be heard if we truly silence our mind.

I am presenting the recently recorded (with my Moto G phone) version of full text of Narayaṇopaniṣat. I was visiting Dunagiri Retreat in Kumaon Range of Himalayas and felt so peaceful that I really wanted to chant it.

I hope you will like it. Share your feedback and how you felt listening to it.
