Framingham-based Ameresco Inc., which helps clients become more energy efficient, has acquired the consultancy and project management business of Energyexcel LLP, a London energy services provider. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ameresco said it does not anticipate the deal will have a material effect on its 2014 financial results. Ameresco, which has sought to expand its footprint in the United Kingdom, said the two businesses broaden its "international expertise and service offerings for multinational customers."
