Hyderabad: Eamcet counselling for aspiring medical students is expected to begin on August 25. Officials of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education and the medical admissions committee on Monday held talks on this matter.
T Ravi Raju, the Vice-Chancellor of the NTR University of Health Sciences, had earlier held a meet with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and other officials. Sources said there was a broad agreement to begin counselling from August 25. As per the directions of the Supreme Court, the classes must begin on September 1, However, a final decision is to be taken on Wednesday.
