Mahat to do a rom-com titled Badam Pista

After playing an important role in Vijay���s Jilla, Mahat is all set to go solo in his next film titled, Badam Pista. The film is touted to be a romantic comedy that is all set to go on floor from next month. ���It will have more comedy than romance. I play a local ���area payan��� in the film. Since I am used to speaking the Madras slang, it would be fun doing something that I am comfortable with.We will be shooting the film in and around Chennai,��� says Mahat.
Debutant director Michael, who earlier worked with filmmakers like Selvaraghavan and Aishwarya Dhanush, will be helming this project. Meanwhile, the actor is also kicked about his next film, Simbu.
���It is a pucca commercial film that includes everything from action, romance to comedy. The script is very interesting and it will be done on a large scale. I am going in for an image makeover for the film and will also be sporting a six-pack for the film. Once I am through with my Telugu project and Badam Pista, I will begin work on Simbu,��� says an excited Mahat, who will begin shooting for the film from November.
