Sanand Nyas promoting Marathi culture well: Actress Rohini Hattangadi

INDORE: Winners of various competitions organized by Sanand Nyas recently were felicitated at a function organized at Jaal auditorium on Saturday. Veteran theatre, film and television actress Rohini Hattangadi was the chief guest. In her address to the gathering, Rohini appreciated the efforts of Sanand Nyas members in promoting Marathi.
Winners of three major competitions namely story-telling competition for grandparents, group song competition and drama competition were awarded with cash prizes and medals.Sanand Nyas's life time achievement award was given to Meghna Nirkhiwale.
"In the drama competition, first and second prizes was given for the categories of best play, best direction, best actor in lead role (male), best actor in lead role (female), best supporting actor (male) and best supporting actor (female). Prizes were also given for best lighting, sound and costume," spokesperson Deepak Tagde said.
