Valletta McDonalds     16     Exiles Ferretti     8

(5-0 ,3-4, 5-2, 3-2)

Valletta made short shrift of a hesitant exiles outfitm who succumbed early on in the match, and their later efforts really had no bearing in the game, as the Citizens never let their opponents get near to them for the rest of the match. Valletta are now clear of exiles in the table, and they will give it a go against Sirens, for the top spot in the standings.

Valletta were all over their opponents in teh opening session, as they shot in five goals, without any reaction from Exiles, who wasted their two man ups. In teh second period Exiles were  an improved lot, as their goals began to go in, but Valletta were being idle, and replied on three occasions, as they held on to a sound advantage till the interval, on an 8-4 lead.

After the break Exiles tried to make a fight of it, as they crept nearer, but they they were dealt a mortal blow, with the Citizens putting in four more goals in a row, and took their lead to a winning one, on a solid 13-6 advantage. Valletta then netted three times more in the last quarter, to emphasise their victory, with exiles ending the match with a double strike, for a somewhat improved scoreline.

The Citizens had Djorde Filipovic in a scoring mood, netting no less than seven goals, and Milos Korolija helped out with four more goals. For Exiles there was Gergely Katonas with a poker of goals.
