Sony Middle East and Africa FZE today announced the expansion of its compact portable wireless speaker line-up with four new light weight speaker additions that could serve as perfect holiday companions for both indoor and outdoor use. The latest range of speakers packs an outstanding sound performance in a deceptively small package and is compatible across mobile devices, making Sony’s portable wireless speakers the best buys in the market today. 

The new wireless speaker series includes the SRS-X7, SRS-X5, SRS-X3, and the ultra-compact SRS-X2.   

SRS-X7 Wireless Speaker System 

With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, the wireless speaker offer 32W total output power delivering rich and powerful sound through a built-in subwoofer and dual passive radiators. A careful emphasis on best-in-class quality and material specifications ensures that Sony’s latest offering reflects a neutral and ‘definite outline design’ that complements any interior décor. 

Sony’s unique audio technology DSEE-HX delivers high-frequency output and up-scales existing audio signals (MP3, ACC, ATRAC and WMA) to hi-resolution levels. Via the SongPal app, ClearAudio+ renders vibrant sounds with bass, full mids and impressive highs. The built-in rechargeable battery offers up to six hours of run time.  Embedded Wi-Fi enables audio streaming with Pandora, Music Unlimited, Spotify, and even iTunes content, as well as the music files on your DLNA compatible PC or Home Media Server3. An Ethernet port ensures a stable network connection. The built-in AAC and the apt-X codec support help eliminate signal quality loss while streaming music. 

The free SongPal app (when installed on compatible iOS device or Android smartphone) allows users to control the speaker, adjust settings and enjoy an uninterrupted music/ audio experience. 

SRS-X5 Wireless Speaker System 

The SRS-X5 offers an audio output of 20W via 2.1 audio channels with a good tone balance and strong bass. Bluetooth® connectivity facilitates wireless music streaming and for even more convenience the SRS-X5 features a built-in hands-free speaker-phone. 

The speaker system features a built-in rechargeable battery offering up to eight hours play time, perfect for if you want to take it out and about or on holidays. As with the complete new wireless speaker and audio systems line-up, this high audio quality for wireless audio streaming is assured by the different technologies including aptX codec, Clear Audio+ and S-Master Digital technology that deliver beautiful refined sounds. 

SRS-X3 Wireless Speaker System 

Ergonomically designed to feature clean lines and a unique metal surface the 850 g light-weight SRS-X3® redefines the seamless portable bass sound experience. The speaker blends easily into the living space, regardless of the ambience. The impressive bass sound of the SRS-X3 is made possible by two carefully engineered passive radiators located in the front and back. The full range speakers offer 20W output and high quality sound integrating features such as the ‘Sound Mode’. 

Offering up to seven hours of run time, the built in battery can be easily recharged through a micro USB cable. 

SRS-X2 Wireless Speaker System 

The durable and light casing on the small wireless SRS -X2 speakers offer superior audio quality.  Wireless music streaming and hands-free calls are facilitated by ClearAudio+ with the speakers easily connecting to compatible Bluetooth® devices using NFC.  

The built-in battery recharged with a micro USB and a USB AC adapter offers up to five hours uninterrupted run time. The stereo speakers deliver 20W power in a bass-reflex design conveying a rich sound while the Clear Audio+ feature enables powerful bass and crisp highs. The wide stereo mode allows users to enjoy a complete surround sound experience.
