Man hangs self in train’s washroom

KANPUR: Body of an unidentified 50-year-old man was found hanging inside a general coach of the Bhiwani-Kanpur bound Kalindi Express train at the Farrukhabad railway station on Saturday morning.
The matter came to light when the toilet door of the general coach was forcefully opened by some passengers after the train arrived at the railway station.The Farrukhabad station master’s office was informed and GRP personnel and railway staff brought the man’s body down. The police, thereafter, sent the body to district hospital for a post-mortem.
“The body was found hanging from the hook of the toilet of the general coach. Efforts are now underway to establish the identity of the man,” inspector GRP (Farrukhabad) Mithoon Dikshit said.
