NASHIK: Nearly 1,000 cable connections to customers in Meher Dham, Peth Road, Panchavati, Hirawadi and adjoining areas have been snapped by multi-system operators (MSO) over differences with the local cable operators (LCO).
The cable feed to Siddhivinayak Cable Network and Pratik Vision Cable Network by multi-system operator Den Discovery Digital Network Private Limited has been suspended and screens across thousands of homes have gone blank.

According to an MSO representative, operators have not paid their dues for the feed from time to time and despite issuing notices to them they have not cleared the dues.
“Hence, the feed to their networks was snapped.”
The cable operators on the other hand say they had cleared their dues, yet the operators chose to discontinue their connections.
“We are ready to sort out the issues, but we are not being heard,” said a cable operator.
The cable operators have made their representation to the entertainment department in the collectorate and senior officials said they would look into the issue at the earliest.
