Egyptian forward Mahmoud 'Kahraba' Abdel-Moneim scored his maiden goal for Grasshoppers to help them to a 2-1 win over Aarau in the Swiss league on Saturday.

The 20-year-old opened the scoring after six minutes to open his Grasshoppers account after joining in the summer following a brief stint with Luzern, who terminated his contract last season due to misconduct.

French forward Anatole Ngamukol sealed the win with 10 minutes remaining as Grasshoppers registered their first league win after a poor start saw them lose three times and draw twice in their first five matches.

Abdel-Moneim's nickname 'Kahraba' can be translated to 'Electricity,' an expression of his usual lively performances.
