ITBP personnel at RTC celebrate I-Day in Madurai

Competitions were also organised during the celebrations and prizes were distributed.

Independence Day was celebrated at Recruits Training Centre of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) at Illupaikudi near Sivaganga on Saturday with pomp and gaiety.

Banwari Lal, second in command (officer commanding), hoisted the national flag in the presence of other officers.

In his Independence Day address, Mr. Lal said that people in all ranks should rise to the expectations in facing the future challenges to serve the nation with utmost zeal and dignity. Competitions were also organised during the celebrations and prizes were distributed.

Assistant Commandants K. Solai Raj, Nitesh Sharma, Manish Gautam, Lekh Raj Rana and Brijesh Kumar Rai were also present, said a press release.
