Soni Razdan, who last donned the director’s hat for Nazar in 2005, will soon be taking it up the baton once again. Razdan, who has been known for portraying some really strong women characters in films as well as television, is gearing up to direct Love Affair.
The movie’s plot is said to be inspired by the 1959-K.M. Nanavati vs State of Maharashtra case. Interestingly, one of the characters in the movie is based on Ram Jethmalani, who was the Special Public Prosecutor in the murder case.
When contacted, Razdan refused to give any details and said, “The film will go on floors only by the year end. We are still working out the details and will take some time to announce it.”
However, she agreed that Chandan Roy Sanyal has an important role in the film.
