K.C. Bokadia’s next will be titled Teri Meherbaniyan

Director-producer K.C. Bokadia who produced Teri Meherbaniyan, the highly successful film which had a Labrador as the protagonist is now making a film titled Teri Meherbaniyan.
“The script of the film is ready and it is not a remake or a sequel to my earlier film, but the space of the film will be the same. Like the original, the dog will be the central character and will once again be a brown colour Labrador. I have taken South director Aditya to helm the project, but it will be made in my style—packed with emotions. We will lock the actors soon,” said Bokadia who has a penchant for making animal based films and had made Jawab Hum Denge with monkeys and Main Tera Dushman with an elephant.
In fact, the director is awaiting release of his political drama Dirty Politics that has been mired in controversy ever since the first poster of the film showing leading lady Malika Sherawat draped in the tricolour was launched, before he starts shooting for Teri Meherbaniyan next month.
The original film that had Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon as part of the cast released on August 9, 1985 and celebrated golden jubilees in several theatres.
