Uppi’s Love Story without Upendra

When the film chamber refused to okay a film title called Upp’s Love Story to someone who intended not to involve Upendra in anyway, it was time to take some drastic action – at least as far as Milind Dharmasena was concerned.
The music composer-politician was taken aback when the chamber refused to let him register the title as they felt he may be treading on Kannada star Upendra’s toes – as the actor is often referred to as Uppi.Incidentally, Upendra is also currently working on a film called Uppi 2.
While Milind was allegedly considering taking the matter to court, he decided to meet Upendra himself instead to discuss the matter. However, looks like all has ended well as Upendra, after listening to a brief storyline, seems to have no issues with Milind’s title. The actor is said to have issued a no objection certificate and now the film Uppi’s Love Story will be one that has no connection with the real star Uppi in any way.
