YouGov Says It Has Outperformed Growth Of The Sector(Alliance News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LONDON (Alliance News) - Market research firm YouGov PLC Thursday said its revenue growth had outperformed the overall growth in the sector in its recently-ended financial year, as it promoted the head of its Middle East and North Africa business to become chief operating officer. In a short trading update, the company said it had made progress with its strategy, increasing the proportion of revenue it derives from data products and services. It also said it ended the last financial year to July 31 with net cash of about GBP7 million. The company promoted Sundip Chahal to become its COO, giving him the responsibility of growing its business globally, ensuring consistency in its business processes and client service delivery, ad overseeing the performance of its geographic units. Chahal joined the company in 2005 and has been head of its Middle East and North Africa region since 2010. YouGov shares were down 1.8% at 112.00 pence Thursday morning.
