Length: You need to first figure out whether you want a long or a short raincoat. The long variety — which mostly comes in the form of trench coats with a sash — comes down to the knees and keeps the wearer’s legs dry. This is a great option for a night out. Short raincoats, on the other hand, are usually more casual, end at the waist and may have pockets in the front. They’re usually more appropriate as daytime attire.
