It's time to look into the old mail bag and see what sorts of things you people are worried about now.

Here's a note from a guy who says he got a campaign robocall the other day from Arizona legend Sen. Barry Goldwater urging him to vote for some guy who is running for something.

Well now that's kind of interesting if it's true, although I don't know what this guy thinks I can do about it, especially with Goldwater being pretty much what you'd call dead all these years.

I've heard of people who say they've heard from dead loved ones. Who knows? Maybe Goldwater is keeping his hand in the Arizona political game from the Great Beyond, although you'd think he'd be tired of it by now.

Next, a note from a reader who hates it when people confuse the words "regimen" and "regime." He says he hears TV people do it a lot. Again, I'm not sure how he thinks I can fix this.

And a lady from Gilbert read something in the paper about a woman named Goodykoontz and wonders if by any chance that woman is related to Republic movie and TV critic Bill Goodykoontz.

Now, Bill ls a great guy and a gifted critic and so talented that his opinions almost always agree with mine. But how in hell would I know what total stranger might or might not be related to him and, more importantly who in hell would care?

That's enough of the old mail bag. I think I'll go lie down in dark room with a cool cloth over my eyes until I have enough strength to listen to my voice mails.
