SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Two girls committed suicide in Gurez area of Bandipora district and Larnoo Anantnag today.
A 15-year-old girl of Grantnalla, Badugam Tulail committed suicide by hanging herself in her house. Police has registered a case FIR number 04/2014 under Section 309 RPC in this regard and investigation has been started.
A girl resident of Larnoo Anantnag consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to hospital for treatment where doctors declared her brought dead. After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
