PAULUS "The Rock" Ambunda, whose career is guided by associate promoters Dingaan Thobela and Nestor Tobias, will challenge WBA super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg in Manchester on September 13.
Former boxers Thobela and Tobias said their charge will face the Briton at the Phone4U Arena where the Englishman stopped ill-prepared Tshifhiwa "Atomic Spider" Munyai in two rounds in April.
"This fight will present Ambunda with an excellent opportunity to become a world champion again," said Tobias. "Scott Quigg is a world-class fighter with an incredible record, but we will make sure that he tastes defeat."
Tobias and Thobela have produced many world champions including WBO lightweight champion Paulos "Hitman" Moses.
