Attacks on our family members planned: Elahi

LAHORE - The ruling party has given the task to its goons to attack the top leadership and workers of Inqilab March and Azadi March, claims PML-Q Punjab President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
Addressing a press conference at his residence on Monday, Pervaiz Elahi, while terming the incumbent rulers civil dictators, alleged they had planned to launch a civil war for saving their illegal regime, but Inqilab and Azadi March would foil their nefarious designs.
He claimed the ruling party has given the task to its hoodlums to specifically attack his family members, besides top leadership and workers of the parties leading Inqilab and Azadi marches.
The PML-Q senior leader claimed that a meeting was held at Nayyar Industries (Gujrat) on the directions of the Punjab Chief Minister to attack their family’s residences. “He has also issued instructions to his goons to attack us outside our homes while making arrangements for Inqilab March,” Elahi alleged.
The meeting was attended by Gujrat DCO Chuadhry Mubashar Hussain,  DPO liaqat Chattha and Rai Ijaz Ahmed.
He alleged the ruling party has deputed MNA Abid Raza and Raza Matta to attack his family members with the complete backing of the district administration.
Pervaiz Elahi alleged Abid Raza was involved in harbouring the terrorists who attacked military personnel in Gujrat, besides assassinating a professor of Gujrat University.
The PML-Q leader told media persons that he has written a letter to the Punjab IGP, the chief secretary, home secretary and the federal interior secretary, informing them of the plan of the Punjab chief minister to deal with his opponents.
He said the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister would be responsible for anything happened to the family of PML-Q’s top leadership.
Replying to a query about the possibilities of imposition of martial law, he said natural calamities and martial laws need no permission and the rulers’ fascist tactics could compel the powerful quarters to intervene.
