PUNE: Four men were arrested and a minor was detained eight hours after they allegedly robbed a company in Chinchwad MIDC on early Sunday.
The arrested suspects - Avinash Kisan Kusalkar (22) and Chetan Suresh Mohite (19) of Ramnagar, Chinchwad, Anil Goraksh Jadhav (24) of Dattanagar, and Somnath Dhondiba Kshirsagar (22) of Vidyanagar - are criminals on police record, said Harish Mane, sub-inspector of the Pimpri police station.

Sagar Lalbahadur Bhul (23), an employee of Peekay Packwell company, has lodged a complaint with the Pimpri police station.
Mane told TOI that Bhul began working as a helper in the company 15 days ago. On Saturday night, he was sleeping on the company premises, while watchman Shivlal Chaudhary was sitting in another room. "Around 2.30 am, five people climbed over the main gate of the company and entered the building," he said.
Mane said that one of them was brandishing a sharp weapon. Bhul raised an alarm, but one of the men threatened to kill him and asked him to be quiet. "The suspects took him towards the office. One of them broke the lock of the office door with a stool and they entered," Mane said.
They asked Bhul to switch on the light, searched the drawers and took away cash, a camera and other valuables, he said. Mane said that the suspects forced Bhul into the bathroom and threatened to kill him if he came out. "He came outside after a long time and informed the watchman about the incident," he said.

The watchman then informed the company's owner, who found that the suspects had stolen Rs 15,000, a camera and other valuables, together worth Rs 17,000. "The owner has installed CCTV cameras in the company. We checked the footage and identified the suspects," Mane said.
Police arrested and detained all five suspects within eight hours. "They have been charged under section 395 (dacoity) of the Indian Penal Code," Mane added.
